Thank You Letter

An easy way to make a good impression is to send a thank-you note to everyone you contacted. This is not expected, but it is almost always welcome. In addition to indicating your appreciation for the interviewer's time and consideration, you should include a brief summary of the contributions you could make to the organization.

Dear Mr. Doe:

Thank you for taking the time to speak with me yesterday about the open Senior Service Consultant position at the ABC Company. I'd like to briefly re-state that I am very much interested in the opportunity to contribute to your organization.

I am sure that my four years of customer service experience, my knowledge of Spanish, my leadership experience at the YMCA, and my technical skills would allow me to make an immediate impact at ABC.

Additionally, I enjoyed meeting the members of the department, and believe that I could quickly fit into your team.

Again, thank you for your time; please call if there is any additional information I can provide. I look forward to hearing from you shortly.

Sincerely,
